Day in and day out, many families are facing great challenges such as job loss, food insecurity, and imminent homelessness. As a result, these struggles have created incredible amounts of stress and unrest as parents carry the burden of trying to figure out how to provide a stable and peaceful home life for their families in the midst of so much uncertainty.
Today, let’s pray for struggling families. Please pray for provision and favor over their lives and godly wisdom on how to be faithful stewards. Please pray for renewed trust, strength, and faith in God and that the overwhelming peace, joy, and love of Christ dwell in their hearts and homes.
"You have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in their distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat...he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people's disgrace from all the earth. The Lord has spoken. In that day they will say, 'Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the Lord, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.'"
