What is GTLA?

GTLA is GT’s Leadership Academy, which provides both online classes and hands-on experience that includes development in leadership, academics, ministry, and personal spiritual growth.

What is the goal of GTLA?

If you are feeling called to the ministry, looking to become a leader in a church setting, or just want to grow in your walk with God, GTLA may be for you! We want to help you discover your gifts and lean into God’s unique call on your life.

What areas of study are available?

There are five tracks to choose from: KidMin, Youth, Pastoral, Recovery, and Global Studies.

Course Information

What ministry training courses are available?

The academic portion of GTLA is done in partnership with Ministry Studies Online (MSO) and course descriptions can be found here.

How many courses will I be taking at once?

For part-time students we recommend taking 1-2 classes per trimester.

When are courses held?

Anytime, anywhere! You can access your online courses via the MSO platform. We will have an in-person meeting once per month.

Financial & Application Information

How much does GTLA cost?

Tuition for MSO classes is $99 per credit hour. Each trimester, GT will provide $25 towards your enrollment fee.

Are scholarships available?

GTLA does not provide scholarships at this time.
